Hi, I’m Jordan Clayton, founder of Sounds and Entertainment. Born in the Bay Area and raised in Tuolumne County, I’ve spent the last 15+ years bringing unforgettable music and entertainment to weddings and events across Northern California.

From the Sierra Foothills to Sacramento, Modesto, and beyond, we’re proud to be a local team of professional DJs dedicated to creating the kind of atmosphere people remember, long after the last dance.

Music has always been my passion. I still remember my 8th grade dance - stepping into the gym, lights moving, speakers thumping, the energy electric. That was the moment I knew: this is what I wanted to do. I got my start with Sound Extreme in high school, and I’ve been behind the booth ever since.

Today, Sounds and Entertainment is a small team of experienced, professional DJs who know how to read a crowd, work seamlessly with your vendor team, and keep the energy right from ceremony to send-off.

We’ve had the privilege of working with top-tier wedding coordinators, florists, caterers, photographers, and venues throughout the region, from rustic vineyard weddings to elegant black-tie events. Our team doesn’t just play music, we help create the moments you’ll never forget.

When I’m not at a wedding or event, you can usually find me hiking, watching the Niners or Giants, or volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club, sharing a little optimism and a lot of encouragement.
